Dr. Sr. Johnsy Mathews
C.M.C.
HOD, Department of Commerce,
She is a highly accomplished academician with a Doctorate in Economic
History. She is a Fellow of International Gulbenkien Foundation,
Portugal and The Institute of Culture and Portugese Language (ICALP)
Lisbon and did her doctoral research in Universidade de Lisboa,
Portugal. She has traveled extensively in USA and Europe and visited
several international Universities. Sister has extensive experience
in teaching and administration, having worked in prestigious institutions
like the Assumption College, Kerala. She also assists the Principal
in administrative work. |

Dr Jagtar Kaur Chawla
HOD ,Department of English and Academic In Charge,
Dr Chawla has been with the institute since 1976 and has extensive
academic experience in English Language and Literature. She is an
active teachers trainer and resource person for various academic
institutions including the IGNOU and CEEP. She is also associated
with the British Council as a trainer in Business English and Communication,
having trained in Cambridge UK. Her international exposure includes
a Da Vinci ICT project and workshops at the College of St Mark and
St. John at Plymouth and Accent International, Bicton College, East
Budleigh, UK and more recent sessions and lectures at the University
of Primorska, Slovenia and The University of Cornivus, Budapest.
She is closely involved with innovations in learner strategies. |

HOD Department of Management,
A Graduate in Management from XLRI, an MA in Sociology and an LLB,
Prof Thomas brings his extensive and varied experience into the
working of the management course in the college. His work spans
into Chairman, University Board of Studies(Faculty of Management
and Applied Economics), member, University Board of Studies Faculty
of Commerce, Member University Research Development Committee, guest
faculty to national institutes like IIFM, resource person for MDPs.
He is active in the training sector as well. He is responsible for
several projects and is professionally associated with many NGOs.
He spearheads the PG management-twinning program with Assumption
University, Bangkok. |

Dr Vinay Mishra
HOD ,Department of Humanities,
A psychologist trained in India, USA and Switzerland, Dr. Mishra
has also been a National Merit Scholar, a cultural ambassador of
India to USA and a member of the Indian Scientific Expedition to
Antarctica. A practicing psychologist and a prolific columnist to
several news papers, Dr Mishra is instrumental in integration of
theoretical and practical aspects of psychology and in bringing
new dimensions in the form of field visits, experiments and research
for the enhancement of the quality of learning experience |

HOD Computer Applications
BE and MCA, certified at the DOEACC "A" level,
she has been with the department of computer applications since its
inception. She has intensive experience in the field of IT instruction
and is responsible for bringing to the students various innovative
projects and workshops. |

Post graduate in Social Work from Pune University and
M.A. in English Literature, he is involved in Social Work Education
and training since 1995. He has extensive experience in the field
of Social Work and is actively associated with many Universities and
NGO's in Social work Education and Training. He has published several
research papers in the field of social work. |

He has been managing the office at BSSS since 1982. Besides his administrative
capabilities, he is a keen academician with a Doctorate in History
and specialization in Law. He also looks after the Public relation
work in the college and has played an important role in its growth |
