In the supercharged business world of today students have to face tough competition to secure a position for themselves in the corporate sector. 

We at BSSS have taken the initiative to bridge the gap between student preparedness for the job market and the needs of various work sectors by playing a proactive role in the process of campus recruitment. Through our intensive campus drives our students are brought face to face with top companies in the job sector. The process also allows them to test their skills and assess their potentialities so that they can undertake the necessary training to fine tune themselves to meet job requirements.

In order to open up new vistas for our students, the placement cell organized the first campus interview in the month of September. Well known companies like Infosys and IBM Daksh conducted presentations, group discussions, written exams and personal interviews with the students of the final year.

Infosys selected Ms.Nidhi Jain as the college ambassador, who went to Bangalore for training and is the representative of the company at BSSS. IBM Daksh selected 36 students who can join the company after finishing their exams. In the month of November Genpact conducted their Campus recruitment and short listed 60 candidates for the second round of interview to be held in January.

Another venture of the cell was the opportunity of hands on experience for 25 students at Nirman Stock Broking Company. This was a week long program where the students received a stipend along with valuable work experience.

Jeewan Motors and Hotel Residency also conducted placement interviews for our students. Companies like SBI Life, Satyam Computers, Jet Airways are in constant touch with the cell for conducting interviews.

We are optimistic that in the coming year we will be able to strengthen our campus placement and facilitate higher recruitments for our young job aspirants.
