Independence Day celebrated with great splendor in BSSS

City's BSSS College celebrated 77th Independence Day with much fanfare. On this occasion, an exhibition was organized in the college on 14th August. On 15th August, flag hoisting was done in the college at 7:30 am for which Lt. Gen. Milan Naidu was present as the chief guest. General Naidu hoisted the flag in the presence of more than 1000 students and the entire staff.

Program In charge Prof. Ashish Jain said that after the flag hoisting, a cultural program was organized in the college auditorium under which patriotic songs and dances were presented by the artists of Rhythm, as well as a very spectacular drama based on Pulwama attack was staged, seeing which everyone's eyes became moist. A street play was presented by the students of the Department of Social Work, explaining nationalism and giving the message of true patriotism.

Principal Dr. Fr. John PJ congratulated everyone on Independence Day and said that youth is our strength. Everyone should pay special attention to their duties so that the country can get the right speed. Congratulating everyone on the occasion of the country's independence, Chief Guest Lt. Gen. Milan Naidu said that whatever work you do, do it honestly and in the interest of the country, it is really a form of service to the country. If every youth moves ahead with mutual unity with positive thinking, then the country gets strength.

After this, celebrating the independence, the youth took out a rally singing and dancing to the tunes of the DJ's patriotic songs. Flags waving in the hands of everyone immersed in the colour of nationalism were displaying patriotism.
