NGO partner's meet SAMAVESH 2023

Partner’s meet- Samavesh was organised by the Bhopal school of social sciences under the banner of department of social work on 25 august 2023.
The meeting started at 02:00 pm with a formal welcome extended to the guests and a brief of objectives of the meeting by the emcee of the program- Miss Pooja, assistant professor, social work department.
The program was chaired by the Principal of the college, Dr. Fr. John P.J. In his inaugural session, he expressed his gratitude to the guest NGOs for their wonderful collaboration, cooperation and the opportunities of growth they provide to the student interns of the department. And further emphasised upon the value of their feedback regarding the performance of students. He also invited the NGOs to share their on-field success and failure case studies to be published through the college publication.
The program preceded with a presentation by Mr. Piyush Porwal. Assistant professor, social work department tracing through the vibrant profile of the department, it’s activities and achievements.
This was followed by a dialogue initiated by miss Priyanka Janbandhu, assistant professor, social work department with the guests from organisations seeking their experience and feedback in regard to the tie up for the student internships. The members shared a positive portrait of on-field experiences and growth of students and were happy about the performance of interns.
The session was concluded by a formal vote of thanks extended by Dr. Rutwik Gandhe , head of department of social work to the participant NGOs for their valuable time and suggestions, to Principal Dr. Fr. John P.J for his guiding presence throughout the session and the professors of the department for making the meeting a successful one.
The meeting came to a formal end with refreshments at 4:15 pm.
