Dangal Annual Sports Meet 2024

Sports enhance the quality of life - Vishwas Sarang
Dangal 2024 started in BSSS


Dangal 2024 started last month in The Bhopal School of Social Sciences under Fit India Movement and Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat under which inter-departmental matches started. These included basketball, volleyball, cricket, chess, table tennis, badminton, and relay races, and today the two-day sports festival was inaugurated with great enthusiasm. Principal Dr. Father John PJ congratulated all the winners and extended best wishes to the participants while talking about the importance of sports in the all-round development of personality.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, Madhya Pradesh Vishwas Kailash Sarang was especially present on this occasion. Appreciating the enthusiasm and discipline of the youth of BSSS, he said that sports enhance the quality of life. On this occasion, he honored the national and international players of BSSS by giving them awards. Special guest Brigadier Sanjoy Ghosh gave the message to the players to play with a healthy sporting spirit, while Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi congratulated the participants and taught them to maintain their enthusiasm.
During the Dangal, many competitions were organized for the students as well as teachers and staff of the college. Everyone was seen displaying their skills on the field with full excitement and enthusiasm.

At the formal beginning of the Dangal, all the teams came out in a march past in front of the stage and after this, the victory torch was lit which will remain burning continuously for 2 days and will witness the Games. Father Jomi, Dean BSSS declared the sports function open. After this many exciting final matches took place. The football match final was held between BPES and BBA in which the BPES team was the winner by 3-0. A volleyball match was played between BA and B.Com in which the BA team was victorious. Young students also participated by playing drums and dancing after every four of cricket. During the break time in every match, many students kept cheering up and dancing to the tunes of the DJ. Players also participated enthusiastically in track events. In the Women's Tug of War competition between teachers and non-teachers, the teachers' group emerged victorious.
In Dangal, 1578 college students participated in the competitions with great zeal and enthusiasm.
