The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Indian Knowledge System and Inclusive Education, organized by the Department of Education and IQAC of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy of IIT Guwahati, successfully concluded on October 10, 2025.
The session began with a video presentation by Ms. Sheena Thomas, which presented the main highlights of the five-day event. The Principal of BSSS, Dr. Father John P. J., commended the organizing team for creating a platform that aligned ancient Indian knowledge with inclusive education.
Dr. Srinivasan Krishnaswamy, Associate Professor at IIT Guwahati, and Ms. Vartika Agrawal, Coordinator at IIT Guwahati, ensured the active participation and reflective thinking of the attendees in this virtual programme.
One of the participant shared their feedback, calling the FDP a transformative and knowledgeable experience, praising the training.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Sonal Thareja, Director of IITE Gandhinagar, emphasized the necessity of integrating indigenous knowledge into modern educational practices to promote value-based education.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Daman Deep Gulati, followed by the distribution of certificates and a photo session in the open theatre.
Sister Rohini Jadhav, Ms. Sheena Thomas, and Mr. Nitin Jain worked as programme coordinators and ensured the smooth running of all sessions. A total of 82 participants benefited from the FDP, which concluded with gratitude, cooperation, and academic inspiration.
