IT MATTERS 2021
On Friday, April 8th2022,the Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS),released a series of college magazines in order to appreciate the studentengagements with literary and editorial activities on thecollege campus. Principal Dr. Fr.John P.J., Vice-Principal Dr. Sr. Sonia Kurian, Certificate Course In-charge Sr. Aruna and In-charge of Publication Cell Mr. Zeeshan A. Siddiqui were present during the inaugural ceremony along with the faculty members, office staff and Heads of Departments.
The college released e-magazines namely a) ‘Eco-Knocks 2021’(Dept. of Economics) b) ‘Tathya’ (Dept. of Science)c) ‘IT Matters 2021’(Dept. of Computer Applications) d)‘The Green Space’ (Department of Nature Club under the aegis of Department of Science).
Ms. Shruti More, under the able guidance of Dr. Parminder Kaur, Head of thedepartment of Economics, edited the ‘Eco-Knocks2021’. ‘Tathya’- the e-magazine of department of Science was edited by a group of committed students under the guidance of Dr. Vandana Yadav, Head of the department of Science. ‘IT Matters2021’, the e-magazine of the department of Computer Applications was edited jointly by Mr. Mohd. Ilyas, Ms. Vibhuti Soni and Ms. Manisha Mandhani, under the guidance of Ms Shilpa Jackson, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications. Student editors under the guidance of Head of the Department, Dr. Vandana Yadav were responsible for editing ‘The Green Space’.
Principal Dr. Fr. John P.J. expressed his satisfaction over the endeavour and appreciated the fact that college has a legacy of providing platform to students for college level editorial activities and observed that such students will surely do well in their lives as an individual. The programme came to an end with a round of group photographs.
