Yoga is the basis of life - Yogacharya
mega event on yoga day in bsss
On the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, Yoga practice and Surya Namaskar took place in the BSSS College campus in which a large number of students along with the general public also participated. Dr Dharmendra Bahadur Singh informed that Shri Vishesh Yogacharya, a certified yoga instructor, advanced yoga, aerial yoga and therapy specialist, had come from Jaipur to Bhopal for this program. On this occasion, Yogacharya along with the students and staff in BSSS College Campus got the general public to do yoga and living in the company of nature is a healthy lifestyle.
Principal Dr Father John PJ while congratulating everyone on Yoga Day said that Yoga is the key to a healthy life. If there is a healthy body, then thoughts and personality also move in a positive direction at a healthy pace.
The Adventure Club of BSSS under the leadership of Lieutenant Nasir Ali performed yoga in the company of nature at Kheerganga peak situated at an altitude of 2950 m (9678 ft) above sea level. Along with this, Professor Dr. Sangeetika of the Department of Physical Education got yoga done by visiting the slum area of Bhopal.
