Independence day Celebration 2022

In the golden jubilee year of the Bhopal School of Social Sciences, the 76th Independence day was celebrated with solemn grace and dignity. The chief guest, Shri RN Prasad, the father of martyr Major Ajay Prasad, hoisted the flag. BSSS Staff and NCC cadets saluted the national flag amidst light showers.
On this occasion, a cultural program organized in the BSSS Auditorium paid tribute to the martyrs of India. A brief documentary based on the valour displayed by the Param Vir Chakra winners emotionally moved everyone in the audience.
Dr Aarti Mudaliar, the Program coordinator, said that on this special occasion, we pay tribute to the soldiers who laid down their life for our better future. We remember their sacrifice and make our young students understand the significance of India's independence.
Principal Dr Father John PJ said that as the country celebrates the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, we also want to get involved in this festival with great pride. He further added that the need of the hour is to defeat the internal enemy and make our country strong by maintaining unity and integrity. If we remain united only then can we progress and prosper.
Chief guest RN Prasad, remembering his son Major Ajay Prasad, shared stories of his courage with the young students of BSSS. He stressed that education strengthens character and is the only means to become victorious in achieving the higher goal of life.

After the cultural programmes, young students of BSSS NCC, NSS and BSSS Spartans, led by Dr Dharmendra Bahadur Singh, Dr Vishal Singh Singer and Lt. Nasir Ali, enthusiastically participated in the tricolour rally.
