Cyber Club Celebrates ‘Technology Day 2023’at BSSS

Cyber Club under The Department of Computer Applications of BSSS organized ‘Technology Day’. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr Nischol Mishra, Associate Professor SOIT, RGPV Bhopal. In his address, he highlighted the use of technology such as UPI, AI, Online services, ONDC, Global innovation index, and start-ups in India. He also stressed intellectual property rights and sensitize the students to be aware of their digital intellectual rights. He expressed his appreciation and the need for organizing such events for the students. Dr.Fr. John P J, Principal, BSSS also gave his blessings and motivated the participants. Ms. Prabha Biju Chacko, HoD, Department of Computer Applications, BSSS welcomed the participants. To mark this Technology Day the department organized three Competitions.

Photography Competition sponsored by Canon India on the theme “Daily life through a lens”. We received very creative photographs from the students. The judges of the event were from Canon India Mr Harbhajan Singh and Mr Bhupendra Patel.

Reel-Making Competition: On themes such as “Technical Tutorial”, “Tips on how to make money”, and “Display your skills” the entries for the reel-making competition were invited. Participants were very excited and submitted creative and expressive reels for the competition.

Technical Ramp Walk Competition where students dressed on the theme of technology, depicting various technologies such as Alexa, Satellite, Chat GPT, Data Analytics, and many more technologies and different career options through innovative and creative attires for the ramp walk.

Overwhelming participation was received for all these competitions. The students got a platform to showcase their talents and skills through the various competition organized during Technology Day 2023. Exciting prizes were sponsored by Canon India for photography competitions. The event concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony in which the first three winners of each event were felicitated.
