Due to the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence in the country, tree plantation was done in the herbal garden of BSSS College in the city today. On this juncture, under the campaign Meri Mati Mera Desh announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NSS volunteers of the college built a garden and honored the martyrs for which retired Indian Army Havildar Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary was present as the chief guest.

Principal of the college Dr. Father John PJ said that the objective of the campaign is to honor the heroic freedom fighters and protagonists who laid down their lives for the country. While saluting the soil and saluting the heroes, Father John also inspired everyone to marmalade the environment.
