Nukkad Natak Organized for Cleanliness Awareness

With the aim of raising awareness among people about cleanliness and environmental protection, the Department of Social Work of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences organized a street play (nukkad natak) in collaboration with the awareness team and the Center for Social Animation of Marginalized, Migrants and Nomads (SAMMAN).

The program was conducted in different areas of Bhopal, including Meera Nagar, Prabhu Nagar, and Habibganj.

Through this activity, students and volunteers presented a street play to educate common citizens about the importance of cleanliness. The play conveyed messages such as reducing the use of plastic, not littering waste here and there, and keeping public places clean.

Local residents appreciated the initiative and took a pledge to maintain cleanliness. The program was coordinated by Atul Vishwakarma, Fieldwork Coordinator, while Fr. James, Director of SAMMAN, Bhopal, provided special guidance.

The organizers stated that the objective of such activities is to inspire youth towards social responsibility and to create awareness about cleanliness in the community, so that together a clean and healthy society can be built.
