Academic and Administrative Audit Conducted at BSSS

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) underwent a two-day External Academic & Administrative Audit (AAA) on 18 and 19 September 2026 as part of its quality assurance initiatives and AQAR process. The audit reviewed the institution’s academic, administrative, infrastructural, and student-support mechanisms, with a focus on quality enhancement and continuous improvement. The external peer team comprised Prof. Deepak Jaroliya, Director, PG Campus and Director, IQAC, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore; Dr. Mallika Sanyal, Vice-Principal and IQAC Coordinator, St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad; and Dr. Megha Singh, HoD English, Shri Satya Sai College for Women, Bhopal. The audit was coordinated by Ms. Judie S. Abraham, IQAC, along with Prof. Lila Simon, Academic In-Charge, and Mr Zeeshan A. Siddiqui, In-charge Autonomous Cell. The institute’s commitment was further strengthened by the leadership of Principal Dr Fr John the encouragement provided to the academic and administrative teams by Vice-Principal Dr. Sr. Leema Jacob, and the academic guidance and inspiration offered by Dean (Academics) Dr. Fr. Jomi Panithas. The peer team reviewed all 11 departments, along with various Clubs, Committees, Cells, and institutional units, covering teaching-learning, student support, research, placements, infrastructure, governance, quality initiatives, alumni engagement, and social outreach. The team appreciated the institution’s scholarship and financial assistance mechanisms, systematic Central Library circulation system, and organised Examination Cell processes. The team also reviewed the institution’s laboratories, placement initiatives, research support, and student-centric practices. The audit concluded with a Report Writing session followed by an Exit Meeting with the Principal and the AAA Coordinating Committee, providing valuable inputs for further quality enhancement and continuous improvement at BSSS.
