A two-week multidisciplinary refresher course on "Transforming Education in the Era of NEP-2020: Integrating Interdisciplinary Research and Digital Pedagogies for Inclusive and Sustainable Development" concluded on Saturday at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS). The programme was jointly organised by the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (UGC-MMTTC), Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi, and BSSS.
The course concluded with a valedictory session after a three-day faculty assessment, during which participants presented innovative teaching plans incorporating the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, interdisciplinary learning, digital pedagogy and learner-centric teaching methods. The presentations were assessed for academic quality, innovation and practical application.
The evaluation was conducted by subject experts Dr. Narinderjit Kaur and Dr. Arti Dubey, along with an in-house jury comprising senior BSSS faculty members.
Addressing the valedictory session, BSSS Principal Fr. Dr. John P.J. and Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Leema Jacob encouraged participants to apply the knowledge and innovative teaching practices gained during the programme in their institutions. UGC-MMTTC Director Prof. Vimal Rarh, who joined virtually, highlighted the importance of continuous faculty development.
