Inter-Religious Dialogue Organised at BSSS: Message of Humanity and Harmony Delivered

An Inter-Religious Dialogue program was organized by the Department of Humanities at The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS). The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. In his welcome address, Dean Academics Dr. Fr. Jomi Panithas welcomed everyone and inspired young students to respect all religions and follow the path of humanity.

Scholars representing four major religions participated in the dialogue—Col. (Dr.) Avtar Singh Pawar representing Sikhism, Dr. Raghuveer Goswami representing Hinduism, Fr. Thomas Peringalloor representing Christianity, and Dr. Humayun Rasheed Khan representing Islam. Addressing the students, the religious leaders spoke on stress management, positive future thinking, and prioritizing human compassion while moving forward with religion, yoga, and values. The discussion centered around four key questions concerning youth, religion, spirituality, science, faith, and human values. All speakers unanimously emphasized that the essence of all religions is humanity, love, and compassion.
