In Madhya Pradesh’s capital city Bhopal, the Department of Social Work at the School of Social Sciences, Bhopal, under the guidance of College Principal Dr. Fr. John P.J., has so far distributed 304 blankets to homeless and needy people across the city, and the campaign has set a target of distributing 700 blankets in total. The college’s Principal, Dr. Fr. John P.J., participated at Roshanpura Square and distributed blankets, stating that there is no greater religion or act of compassion than serving humanity. Dr. Rutvik Gandhe, Head of the Department of Social Work, said that this initiative is being carried out with the support of various donors and aims to help the needy. She added that enthusiastic volunteering and organizational support have made it possible to successfully complete the first phase of the campaign.

The main partners in this program include Youth for Seva, Professional Social Work Students Association, Nishat Trust, Social Outreach Committee, Youth Pal Society, and Jag Jagran Society, who played an important role by providing warm clothing and blankets, helping make the campaign successful.

The organizers thanked the management of Bhopal School of Social Sciences for their guidance and encouragement. Atul Vishwakarma said that the second phase of the blanket donation drive will soon be organized by the Social Work Department in Village Sohankheda, and the final phase will take place in Sehatganj, ensuring that this humanitarian initiative reaches those most in need.
