BSSS students engage with rural community

The Department of Social Work and the Professional Social Work Students Association (PSWSA) of Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) organized a two-day College to Community camp recently at Gram Jyoti English Medium High School, Premakulam, managed by the Mar Thoma Mission. The camp aimed to expose students to rural life and provide hands-on experience in community-based social work.

As part of the programme, students visited nearby villages and interacted closely with local residents to understand their social and cultural realities. Various activities were conducted during the camp, including street plays, social awareness programmes, blanket distribution, and cultural exchange sessions. Students and community members participated together in dance, music, and local cultural performances, strengthening mutual bonding.
