NSS Volunteer Rimi Sharma Brings Glory to BSSS at Republic Day Parade 2026

Rimi Sharma, an NSS volunteer from The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), created history by becoming part of the national contingent at the Republic Day Parade 2026 and saluting Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu at Kartavya Path, bringing immense pride to her institution and the region.

Selected after a rigorous multi-level process, Rimi showcased exceptional discipline, dedication, and perseverance during the Republic Day Camp held from 1 to 31 January 2026. Her journey began in 2023 when she joined NSS with a dream of marching in the Republic Day Parade. Though unsuccessful in 2024, she remained determined and, through consistent effort and commitment, achieved her goal in 2026.

Her selection progressed through college, district, and university levels, followed by outstanding performance at the demanding Pre-RD Camp, where physical fitness, parade skills, discipline, and teamwork were rigorously assessed.

Rimi’s achievement stands as an inspiring example of resilience and excellence, and her salute to the President marked a proud moment for BSSS and the entire community.
